Day two on the bridal catwalks at White Gallery in London this year got off to a fabulous start with the magical designs of Stephanie Allin. The new 'Night and Day' collection showcased a range of shapes and styles, from elegant columns of bias cut satin to fairytale-like ball gown style skirts and an edgy, strapless trouser suit. Shoulders and waists were highlighted with beautiful detailing and colour was key with delicate pastel shades bringing a contemporary dimension to the designs. With Strictly Come Dancing's Natalie Lowe closing the catwalk in a beautiful pastel dress, Stephanie told us she was thrilled at how the show had gone…
"My highlight was the fashion show and getting Natalie Lowe from Strictly Come Dancing to walk the catwalk for me! She was so wonderful and she loved doing it! It was a great moment! She looked so nice and people were very lovely about the show."

Speaking about the new collection, Stephanie said: "We called the collection Night and Day. The idea for the shoot came first really - we decided to go to Morocco and so we wanted it to reflect the beautiful colours of sunrises and sunsets. We travelled through the cool end of the spectrum with blue silvers, light ivories and beautiful laces with stones and sparkle and then we came through dusk and dawn into the warm sun with colours of the Meditteranean. Then obviously fabric comes into play. I actually kept my eye on the brief I gave myself all the way along which is nice to do!

Asked about her best sellers, Stephanie said "Tulle’s been very popular as well as laces and dresses with stones that have got a bit of sparkle and texture to them. People have also really appreciated seeing colours."

I have to agree that it was a fabulous show! The Night & Day collection manages to be very fashion forward, yet still classically beautiful, with striking silhouettes and a lovely play on colour. All of this, combined with Stephanie's fantastic corsetry makes the new collection perfect for brides looking for that beautiful cut with a little bit of adventure!
