Multi-award winning hotel with magnificent views of Edinburgh's famous Castle and Old Town. Central location, grand rooms and an awardwinning spa to relax in pre-wedding.

During the period November to March The Pipers Hall at Balmoral is available for private hire and makes an ideal venue for a celebration or gathering.

The bright and spacious dining area provides seating for up to 120 people. There is a separate bar area, full catering facilities in the extensive kitchen and in the reception foyer there are toilet facilities, which include baby changing areas and disabled toilets.

Accommodation for groups of up to 25 people is also available in the adjoining building and further accommodation may be available in the holiday cottages on the Estate.

The Pipers Hall is the only venue available on the Estate – the Castle, Ballroom and other areas of the grounds are not available and there is no licence for performing wedding ceremonies.

However there are churches in Ballater, Crathie and Braemar and Registrar Offices in Ballater and Braemar.

Catering for events and gatherings can be provided by one of our preferred suppliers.

We can also assist with arrangements for florists, pipers and entertainment if required.
