Sassi's clientele is definitely more society than celebrity, and in 2008 Sassi Holford was commissioned by Canadian Autumn Kelly to design the wedding gown for her marriage to Princess Anne’s son, Peter Phillips. The wedding took place at Windsor Castle, and Peter was the first of the Queen’s grandchildren to tie the knot.

“Bridal trends for 2010 will be dominated by a huge dose of romance: sweatheart necklines showing off beautiful bust shaping with sexy fitted bodices. The predominant skirt styles will be decadent fishtail and dramatic ballgown. Delicate lace straps and jackets will continue to be popular with a key trend of ‘red carpet’ one shoulder styling for those chic brides. Fabrics also must ooze romance, so look out for slipper satin, vintage lace and silk georgette giving that luxurious 1940s feel. Designers will be using feature detailing such as bows and tails enhanced by diamanté appliqué and brooches to give their clients the perfect finishing statement.”
